  • Palestinians looking at a new roadblock developed in the center of Ramallah, March 2002.
  • A destroyed building in the refugee camp located in the center of Jenin during the 40 days closures. This was taken during the closures, just after the destruction of the camp.
  • A few weeks after the Israeli's left the center of Jenin, the residents attempt to clean up the mess.

  • These two men were taken along with hundreds of other men by the Israelis during an incursion into Jenin, Moftaz was the commander. They took the men and marched them in front of a tank in the streets and stripped them down to their underwear, or naked. Then they took the men outside of Jenin along the occupied areas and made them stand for days without water or food. Then they took the men to another area where they were questioned. The soldiers took photographs of the men with their camera's just before their release and given the photographs as a keepsake.
  • This is inside of Jenin in the center where the refugee camp was once located. The buildings inside of the camp were beyond repair. Here, the families venture out of their blown up homes, because of the presence of the press to view the damage and burn their garbage, while it is safe. The city was still under curfew and closure for over 40 days when this photograph was taken. No one could venture outside of their homes or peak out of their windows in fear of getting shot.
